Mission Statement

The extinguishing and prevention of fires both wildland and structural. Provide Emergency Medical Services, to those within the defined area of RCVFD

Organization History

In April, 1975, over 6 dozen local residents met to discuss the need for a fire department. The homes and structures were in area were not located within any fire protection district. Their initial firefighters were some 25 men and women who served more than 38 families in over 38 square miles. RCVFD began as an ALL Volunteer -and 100% Donation Based, and that has been a point of pride for over 40 years. The original area has since grown to over 110 square miles.
