Rooted in compassion for the hungry, we believe that every Coloradan in need should have equitable access to fresh nutritious vegetables. With generous donations, Colorado Farm to Table has donated 3 million pounds of produce to the hungry over the past 30 years. The Colorado Hunger Problem

The stark reality:

• 1 in 8 Coloradans face food insecurity -- that's more than 660,000 people.
• 1 in 7 Colorado children experience hunger -- 180,000+ kids.
• Every Colorado county has families struggling to afford food.
• Middle-income families struggle, too: 22% earning $60-90K can't afford enough food.

When children don't eat, they can't learn:

• Hungry children score lower on math and reading tests.
• Food-insecure students are twice as likely to repeat a grade.
• Proper nutrition can increase IQ by up to 18 points.
• Well-fed children have 31% better attenance rates.
