Mission Statement

Our mission is to sustainably grow healthy vegetables for donation to those in need of healthy food throughout Colorado.

Organization History

In 1996, career farmer Tony Madone, Jr. started a two acre garden plot in Salida, Colorado and donated the produce he raised to the hungry , a mission that continues today. Tony moved the farm operation to its current location on Hwy. 291 in Salida in 2005 and in 2006 CFTT received its non-profit status. The Shine Family generously donates use of the 15 acre farm.

"It is with a full heart I thank you on behalf of the AVCM and the families we serve. "Your weekly harvest of incredibly fresh and appealing vegetables put smiles on all our faces and delight in our words of gratitude for your blessings to us. Your fresh produce graces the tables of approximately 150 families a week. It is exciting to share recipes and ways to prepare the vegetables..
Thank you! God's greatest blessings to all involved in your service."
Cathy Storey, food Coordinator~Arkansas Valley Christian Mission.

"Thank you so much for all that Colorado Farm to Table does to provide fresh prodice to individuals on the Western Slope. Sharing Ministries Food Bank is particularly proud to partner with Farm to Table by distributing this produce to low income families and 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, such as soup kitchens, food pantries and ministries that serve children and seniors. Sharing Ministries surveys our customers each January to get a perspective on what the needs of our customers are and how we can improve this food ministry. When asked what we can provide that would help supplement their family's grocery needs, about 60% say more fresh produce."
-Oneda Doyal, Sharing Ministries Food Bank - Montrose.
