Mission Statement

Mission Statement for Family & Children Services:
In partnership with our community, we empower families to achieve safety, permanence, and well-being for themselves and their children.

Note: The Boulder Community Housing Corporation (BCHC) serves as the umbrella agency for Family & Children Services Programs which include the Family-to-Family Holiday Gift Program.

Organization History

This is Family-to-Family's 44th year! In that time, we have greatly advanced our philosophy on the best-possible practices in Human Services. Our agency's tag line, "Hope for the future, Help when you need it" symbolizes our efforts to place individual empowerment, family self-sufficiency and safety at the forefront of all our work. We are using every opportunity to form partnerships with individuals and families by giving them the primary voice in decisions affecting their lives. With that in mind, we are asking donors to make cash donations and provide vulnerable individuals and families an opportunity to have a full holiday experience by purchasing presents for their own family.

Testimonials

Heartfelt Thank-You Notes from 2017 Family-to-Family Recipients

I would like to say thank you from my family to yours. Being a single mother of four, in school full time and working, I can't explain how much this helps me and my children. May God bless you and your family. Happy Holidays.

I just want to thank you very much as this year has been very difficult for me and the kids. I am very ill and have a daily struggle just to get up and move. You have no idea what a blessing you gave my family and I this year. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas.

I would like to take the time to thank you so much for this. I can't find the right words to tell you how much you have helped me. I work 2 jobs & have not had a day off in 7 months. But now I know my kid will get something! Thank you so much.

I have a disabled girl, a boy, a teenager and a disabled grandma in the house. This money is greatly appreciated and will bring happiness to my kids. THANK YOU! This really means a lot.

Thank you so much! You have not only made me cry today, but you made it so I can get my daughter a gift! I have no idea how to thank you! Thank you so much!

Thank you very much for making my three children's Christmas! It is my hope that we will be able to do the same for a family one day! You will never know how much this means to us! Thank you.

I wholeheartedly appreciate the help this holiday season. My son's eyes will be much brighter because of you. Thank you!
