Climate Action Now

My first-time hiking at Glacier National Park, I was ecstatic to arrive at the top and view what I believed would be a glacier just like that from the Disney movie Ice Age. It was a long hike for an eight-year-old, however after six miles of trekking uphill, all I could think about was the massive chunk of ice I was about to see. Racing my siblings and cousins to the top of the hike, I was completely out of breath upon my arrival. I will never forget the disappointment I felt as I caught my breath and looked upon the so-called glacier.

The glacier was melting.

It is hard to ignore the ever changing effects that climate change has posed on us. Climate change is a big and overwhelming issue. However, with each of us taking small steps to better our climate, change is not far in sight.
