In August I'm going to be completing a 15 mile trek with fellow DaVita Teammates. As part of this 4 day excursion every participant is raising at least $500 for a charity of their choice.
I've chosen to raise money for Women's Wilderness. Women's Wilderness cultivates courage, confidence, connection and environmental stewardship among girls, women and the LGBTQ2+ community through year-round outdoor immersions across the West. Many of the girls who go on these trips have never even seen the mountains before and would never get the opportunity to if it weren't for Women's Wilderness.
