Wild Beautiful Orchestra

WOW! What an incredible year this has been! See the video trailer for highlights from our 6 orchestral concerts, 3 recording projects, 14 outreach events, and 3 collaborative small groups.

The Wild Beautiful Orchestra is a flexible group of classically-trained and jazz musicians who collaborate with other musicians, artists and youth to create transformative musical experiences for diverse audiences in the greater Denver area.

Our performers are paid for each project, while our board members give their time on a volunteer basis. The WBO is funded through individual donations, corporate donations, ticket sales, and contract services. For 2024, we are seeking additional funding through grants and sponsorships, so that we can expand our reach and have a greater impact.

In Dec. 2023, we are asking for $5,000 in donations to support:
• The final costs of our Sorabji Recording Project (which has been delivered to BIS Records)
• Promotional budget for our Darkness Falls EP (already available on streaming services)
• The start of our Creative Music Workshops (already tested in August 2023, with students currently waiting to sign up)
• Promotional budget for our Windows to Ireland concert (for March 2024)
