Provide grants and other resources to benefit the residents and communities of western Colorado

Organization History

The Western Colorado Community Foundation serves as a philanthropic leader in our seven-county region by connecting people who care with causes that matter. Since 1996, we have built a charitable endowment of $100 million and have awarded over $30 million in grants and scholarships to nonprofit organizations and students pursuing their dream of higher education.

Testimonials

"Thank you to the Western Colorado Community Foundation for funding Recovery and Resilience for Youth.
The teachers are so excited to start using our FocusKids curriculum. There is so much need right now, both on teachers' parts, and on children's, not to mention parents. Our parent coaching series starts soon in both English and separately in Spanish. There has been no time to reset our nervous systems from the stress of the last 18 month, and now here we go again. Rest and reflection throughout the day is critically important."

~ Kathy Hegberg, M.A., Founder and Executive Director, FocusedKids, Carbondale, CO
