Vail Valley Mountain Trails Alliance

A nonprofit organization

Trails for All. Trails Forever!

Trails For All. Trails Forever! is our view that the trails we know and love can be accessed and enjoyed by our entire community, no matter who you are.  Our community of trail stewards invest in our trails and public lands to ensure sustainable, high quality experiences for today and for generations to come.

Your support directly impacts our ability to achieve our mission to connect our community to the outdoors through sustainable recreation. Whether you bike, hike, or trail run you know that our trails are the lifeblood of our community. It's impossible to imagine life without access to our trails.

For over 10 years, the VVMTA has been the leading advocate for natural surface trails.  We manage trail stewardship programs, maintain and build trails, coordinate and train volunteers, educate outdoor recreational users and create opportunities to access the outdoors. And we do all of this to ensure that you and future generations have a great trail experience now, and forever.

Right now we are seeing great momentum in our valley to support recreation. Trail access and experiences are critical not only for our physical and mental health, but they are the foundation of our quality of life and economic vitality. Each year we tackle hundreds of trail projects from Gypsum to the top of Vail Pass. Investing in trails elevates our entire community.

We're ready to go the distance but we need your help! Support the VVMTA to ensure everyone can experience the transformative power of our trails!
