Rodrigo is a seven-year-old boy on the autism spectrum who has amazed everyone
around him with his intelligence, determination, and growth.
From an early age, Rodrigo showed remarkable abilities. He began reading at a very
young age, although verbal communication was challenging for him. As a young child,
he often relied on sign language and pointing to communicate his needs and wants.
Over time, however, his communication skills have developed tremendously.
Today, Rodrigo is a social, energetic, and caring young boy.
He enjoys spending time with his friends, starts
conversations on his own, and no longer isolates himself
from others. Anyone who meets Rodrigo quickly sees what a
sweet and kind-hearted child he is.
Rodrigo recently joined Small Champions and has had the
opportunity to participate in many incredible activities. One of
his favorite experiences has been skiing with his instructor,
LaReine. He loves being outdoors, skiing, swimming, and
spending time with his family. Small Champions has given
him opportunities to build confidence, develop friendships,
and experience activities that he truly loves.
Today, Rodrigo continues to thrive through his involvement
with Small Champions and looks forward to every event and
activity. We would love for more children to have the same
opportunities and experiences that Rodrigo has enjoyed.
