Legacy is the Colorado Children's Chorale's young alumni choir. Legacy is comprised of young high school alumni, as well as early voice changes, and gives Chorale graduates the opportunity to continue making music with their peers. Legacy sings a variety of music, including pop, jazz, and musical theatre! Under the direction of Chorale alumna Janay Bird, Legacy members rehearse once a week. This 2025-2026 season, members range from 9th grade to 12th grade, and represent 25 different schools across the Denver metro area. Legacy performs regularly at Boettcher Concert Hall and enjoys performing in the community at local schools and retirement centers. Ms. Bird is excited for Legacy to perform in the Chorale's Free to Be All of Me concert in April, and in the Spring Fling Sing! concert in May.
