Inspiring the Next Generation of Land Stewards
As the Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV) leadership team, we are proud to champion a cause that lies at the heart of our mission: empowering the next generation to care for Colorado’s public lands.
RFOV promotes community-powered stewardship of our shared outdoors by maintaining trails, restoring ecosystems, and connecting people to the lands that define our valley. But this year, our focus is on the future: the Young Stewards Program.
Through YSP, youth from Aspen to Rifle gain hands-on experience restoring trails, planting native vegetation, and caring for their local environment. Whether on campus, out in the field, or through our Youth in Nature internship, RFOV meets youth wherever they are—offering free, inclusive opportunities to learn, serve, and lead. These experiences build confidence, spark curiosity, and plant the seeds of lifelong stewardship.
Together, we can help the RFOV team maximize their reach for Colorado Gives Day 2025 and invest in the leaders of tomorrow—youth who will carry forward the spirit of stewardship that keeps our public lands thriving.
Join us in giving back to the lands that give us so much. Support RFOV and help grow the next generation of land stewards.
