Our Story: Why We’re Coming Together This Colorado Gives Day
Ardent Grove was founded on a bold belief: Mental health care should be accessible to everyone—no exceptions.
Every day, our clinicians walk alongside children, teens, adults, and families facing trauma, transition, and hardship. They show up with compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment, even as the need for affordable care grows far beyond what our system currently supports.
And now, with new Medicaid restrictions limiting coverage to just 20 sessions per year, hundreds of Coloradans are at risk of losing the consistent therapy they rely on to heal. Nearly 60% of Ardent Grove’s clients use Medicaid, and many others depend on our deeply discounted sliding scale that provides services for as little as $5/session (a stark contrast from the typical $150-$350/session seen around Denver). Without community support, far too many will have to pause or stop therapy long before they are ready.
This is why the Friends of Ardent Grove are rallying together and we are asking you to join us!
Clinicians, current and former board members, donors, partners, volunteers, and friends have all seen the impact of Ardent Grove firsthand. We’ve watched therapy help a child sleep through the night again, a teen find safety in their own skin, a parent reconnect with their family, a survivor take their first breath of relief in years.
We know what this care makes possible. And we know how devastating it would be to lose it.
Your support fills the gap.
Medicaid changes have created a minimum of a $60,000 shortfall—funds that ensure therapy stays accessible, affordable, and stigma-free for every person who needs it. Your gift directly protects the continuity of care for families who cannot absorb another barrier.
This Colorado Gives Day, we’re asking you to stand with us. When you give, you keep healing within reach. You strengthen families. You change lives. You extend lifelines.
Together, we can make sure no one has to walk their healing journey alone.
