Our Vision
We envision an equitable and vibrant Denver where human dignity is the guiding principle for our transportation system and communities, with living, public spaces that allow everyone to thrive and connect to what matters most to them.
Our Mission
We advocate for the cultural and systemic changes necessary to reduce our city’s unsustainable dependence on cars and to design communities that put people first.

Our Impact in 2025—Fueled by Donors Like You
This year, your support helped turn bold ideas into real change. Together, we:
- Celebrated the official launch of Denver Deserves Sidewalks with actual concrete poured for new sidewalk construction and sidewalk repairs, funded by the new sidewalk fee, at locations across the city.
- Negotiated a landmark Community Benefits Agreement with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, ensuring the redevelopment of 70 acres of parking lots around Ball Arena will prioritize walking, biking, and transit—including building part of the 5280 Trail and creating a new endowment for its upkeep and programming.
- Lifted up the mobility needs of unhoused residents, spotlighting the essential role of affordable shared scooters and bikes, and calling for sustainable funding for these lifeline programs.
- Won the “People Over Parking” campaign, eliminating outdated parking mandates from Denver’s zoning code to make way for more housing and healthier communities.
- Identified smarter parking management solutions with a community-driven proposal to pilot a Parking Benefits District on East Colfax—an innovative model to support vibrant neighborhoods and prepare for Bus Rapid Transit.
- Released a Vision for Transit in the Denver Region, laying the groundwork for historic increases in funding for bus and train service over the next decade.
- Elevated the voices of transit riders through art with our Waiting for Dignity bus stop project, shining a light on unsafe and uncomfortable bus stops while mobilizing riders to demand better.
- Preserved community history with the Cloverleaf Oral Histories project, ensuring current and former Sun Valley residents’ voices shape how a major highway interchange is redesigned and the land reclaimed for community use.
And yes—there’s more ahead. From holding Denver accountable to its commitment to Vision Zero and the goal of eliminating traffic deaths to pushing for transformational transit funding, we’re making sure Denver’s streets are built for people, not just cars.
