Here’s what we got done in 2024, thanks to supporters like you: [Maybe summarize the bullets below and have a QR code with the accomplishments video?
- We co-created and launched the Every Student Welcome Network (ESWN), a resource, communications, and collaboration hub for the diverse multitude of organizations that champion public education.
- Brought the national Public School Strong campaign to Colorado, inspiring local action and advocacy to safeguard public school funding by defeating Amendment 80.
- Helped put an end to the Budget Stabilization Factor and usher in a more equitable school finance act.
- Secured the passage and funding of a “Blueprint for Student Success” – Colorado’s first state-commissioned adequacy studies that will detail the resources necessary to ensure the success of every Colorado student – no matter who they are or how they learn. Those findings will be released in January.
- Designed our 2025 “Get It Done” campaign that will give Great Ed advocates the tools to hold legislators accountable for implementing that “Blueprint.”
- Informed over 800 individuals about school finance issues through 20+ presentations.
- In 2024, we helped create the Blueprint for Student Success.
Now it’s time to mobilize public education supporters across the state to make sure Colorado finally steps up for our students to Get It Done.
