Girls on the Fly is more than a program; it’s a community where young girls discover resilience, confidence, and joy through the art of fly fishing and connection with the outdoors. Founded to provide girls with experiences that build character and strength, our mission is to empower girls to be an advocate for themselves, helping to build confidence, and implementing positive internal dialogue using an interactive, fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates fly-fishing and a focus on resilience, the mind-body connection and environmental stewardship.
Our participants gain more than fishing skills—they develop patience, teamwork, and a sense of self. Every outing becomes a moment to conquer challenges, build friendships, and find peace in nature. As board members, we witness firsthand how these experiences transform lives and inspire young girls to reach their fullest potential.
This Colorado Gives Day, we invite you to support our mission of empowering young girls through nature. Your donation will directly fund transportation, ensuring every girl—regardless of location or financial barriers—can access our outdoor excursions and life-changing programs. Join us in creating opportunities for confidence, resilience, and connection to the great outdoors.
Thank you for believing in them, as we do.
To our youth,
The Girls on the Fly Board of Directors
