Stories shape how we understand ourselves and one another. For 50 years, Colorado Humanities has ensured that the stories from every walk of life are heard, honored, and passed on—through author talks, youth programs, public history projects, and more.
Now, with a sudden loss of federal funding, this legacy is at risk. These cuts leave gaps in cultural and historical programming that no other organization is positioned to fill.
We’re calling on 50 passionate advocates to become Keepers of Our Stories—each committing to raise $1,000 to help us meet our team goal of $50,000. Together, we can protect and sustain the storytelling programs that have touched the lives of so many across Colorado.
As a Story Keeper, you're not just preserving the past—you’re investing in a future where every voice has a place, every community is heard, and every story continues to be told.
Step up as a Keeper of Our Stories. Create your fundraising page and help write the next chapter!
