Meals on Wheels Volunteers are an invaluable part of the Meals on Wheels family, and we can't thank them enough for their time, effort, and dedication!
This March, we are calling on our volunteers - our organizational ambassadors - to help us raise funds and awareness for the issues of food insecurity and social isolation that so many of our homebound and aging neighbors face. We have designed a friendly competition between our daily volunteer groups - the MOWLB Volunteer Grand Prix fundraiser!
This competition is meant to be fun and help raise awareness for the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program - all while helping our organization raise money to support our community's at-risk aging population through Meals on Wheels.
YOU ARE DONATING IN SUPPORT OF OUR FRIDAY VOLUNTEER GROUP - The Friday Qualifiers!
Your donation through the Friday Qualifiers' fundraising page will help us reach our $7000 goal. Friday Qualifiers are working to raise the most money towards our goal. There will be prize drawings each week for members of our fundraising leaderboard, and a grand prize for the volunteer group that raises the most overall donations. We will track and promote all of the progress on our website leaderboard, as well as on the Grad Prix display in our lobby.
