Summary
During the past year I have been honored to join the Board of Directors of a Summit County nonprofit, Friends of the Dillon Ranger District. FDRD is a volunteer organization that works to keep trails in the Summit County area in good shape and our national forest lands healthy. Colorado Gives day is one of our top fundraising efforts and this year funds raised in the campaign will be used to improve the Sapphire Point Trail High above high Lake Dillon that many of you have visited off of Swan Mountain Road. FDRD runs many other volunteer outdoor programs throughout Summit County including youth outdoor education, Ski with a Ranger programs at Copper and A Basin and during the past year made many trail improvements surrounding WIldernest.
Summit County is in the White River National Forest, which is the most intensively visited national forest in the Country. Within the White River National Forest, the Dillon Ranger District is the most highly visited district. Please me me support our public lands in Summit County by contributing to my campaign.
