Little Village Summer Camp-aign

Give a child the summer they deserve... a season filled with discovery, joy, and belonging.

At The Village Institute, our Summer Camp extends the care, cultural connection, and learning of the school year into the months when many families are left without support. Most of our preschoolers are refugee and immigrant children enrolled through Universal Pre-K—but these scholarships don’t cover summer programming. Without additional support, many children miss out on safe, enriching summer experiences at a critical stage of development.

That’s where you come in.

Sponsoring a refugee preschooler for summer camp is one of the most direct and meaningful ways to make an impact. Your gift ensures a child has a place to learn, play, build friendships, and simply be a kid.

Here’s what your support can make possible:

• $50 — 🩵🐠Sends a child on a fun-filled field trip to the zoo or aquarium, including admission, transportation and snacks! (Receive a photo and card from the student you're supporting)
• $100 — 🍎💪Covers a week of healthy lunches and snacks for one of our campers, nourishing growing minds and bodies (Receive a photo and card, plus two GA tickets to May 30 Cultural Festival, or swag item of choice)
• $250 — 📚🔬Covers field trip admission for the whole group to explore an exciting location like the Botanic Gardens or Children's Museum (Receive a photo and card, plus two VIP tickets to May 30 Cultural Festival, or premium swag item of choice)
• $500 — 🩳⚽️ Sponsors one full week of summer camp for a child in need! (Receive a photo and card, two free VIP tickets to May 30 Cultural Festival and Oct 3 Gala)
• $2,000 - ☀️🚜 Sponsors one student's full scholarship for the whole month of summer camp! (Receive a photo and card, two free VIP tickets to May 30 Cultural Festival and Oct 3 Gala, your business or family recognized as an event sponsor, and option to attend one of our field trips)
