About Us: For over 25 years, Shining Stars Foundation has empowered and supported children with cancer, young adult survivors, and their families through recreational and social programs that foster hope, connection, and healing. Since our founding, we have served more than 1,300 pediatric cancer patients and 5,500 family members. Each year, we provide 70+ days of life-changing outdoor and social experiences throughout Colorado, including adaptive skiing, rafting, biking, hiking, and more. Thanks to generous donors like you, all services are provided completely free of charge.

Meeting An Emerging Need: As children in our programs enter young adulthood, many continue to face devastating emotional, social, physical, and financial challenges related to their cancer experience. However, few resources and support services are available to young adults who were diagnosed with cancer as children. The Shining Stars All-Stars Program fills this critical gap through retreats, mentorship, and social connection for survivors ages 18+. With 780 former participants now over 18 and more than 325 additional participants expected to age out of our pediatric programs in the next five years (as well as new referrals), the need is growing rapidly.

Your Support: Funds from this campaign will help us expand the All-Stars Program to reach more pediatric cancer patients as they enter young adulthood. Your generosity helps to ensure that no young adult has to face the challenges of life after childhood cancer alone or pay for the support they need.
