Every Child Deserves a Head Start

Child care can change the course of a family's future.

For one Pueblo County family, it meant the difference between hardship and stability.

As Ezra's father shared:

"Our family has been in hardship for the past few months and having ELV come in to help us with affordable child care means that their mother and I can both go back to work and get our family back on track. Knowing we have somewhere safe for our children to go and learn means that we can go to work and focus on providing for our family."

Early Learning Ventures' Early Head Start program gives thousands of Colorado children the strong start they deserve while helping families build self-sufficiency. Children receive high-quality early learning, health and developmental screenings, and individualized support during the most critical years of development. At the same time, parents can work, pursue education, and provide for their families knowing their children are safe and supported. Early Learning Ventures also invests in infant and toddler educators, helping them earn credentials and remain in the field so children can learn and grow with consistent, qualified caregivers.

During Head Start Awareness Month, your donation can help ensure more families like Ezra's have the opportunity to thrive.
