Support Team Rocky & Scott

In 2016, at a support group meeting for people with brain injury, I met someone and decided then and there to share my spare.  "Jesus gave his life for me, I can give you a kidney," I told Jim Eastman, an acquaintance and fellow survivor of TBI.  As most of you probably already know, I think more with my heart than my head, so when I saw the sign on Jim's wife's car, "Husband Needs Kidney," I just knew that I needed to help.  

Here it is, eight years since our June 29, 2017, surgery date, and Jim and I are kidney brothers who celebrate our Kidney-versary on the 29th of each month.  Jim's an early riser, so he beats me to it each month, texting or emailing me with a note of thanks. 

Now, we're gearing up for next summer's Transplant Games of America, and if you make your tax-deductible donation by December 9, it will be matched by the Colorado Gives Foundation!  So, time's a-wastin'; it's time to get busy!
