Pack the Pantry: Keeping our community strong with full Wolf Pantry shelves.
With SNAP benefits paused, more FRCC students and staff are turning to the Wolf Pantry for short-term help. Together, we can Pack the Pantry and ensure our shelves—and our students’ futures—stay full.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to purchase food and essential items for the Wolf Pantries at our Boulder County, Larimer, and Westminster campuses.
The Wolf Pantry provides weekly access to nutritious groceries and essentials—helping students and staff make ends meet during this challenging period. It’s not a replacement for long-term support, but a critical bridge to keep our community nourished and focused on success.
Your gift makes an immediate difference:
$10 provides a week’s worth of groceries for a student.
$25 fills a pantry bag for a family.
$100 helps stock fresh food across all three campuses.
Student Story: Nourishing Hope at FRCC
When Maria started classes at Front Range Community College, she was determined to build a better future for herself and her family. Balancing school, parenting, and two part-time jobs wasn’t easy—but she believed education was her path forward.
By mid-semester, Maria’s hours at work were cut unexpectedly. Her rent and childcare bills didn’t change, but her grocery budget disappeared almost overnight.
“I remember skipping meals...” she shared. “It was really hard to focus in class when all I could think about was how to stretch a box of pasta for the week.”
That’s when Maria discovered the Wolf Pantry. What she expected to be a one-time visit became a steady source of relief and community.
“They didn’t just hand me food—they treated me with kindness,” she said. “I could grab milk, produce, and snacks to keep me going between classes. It made me feel seen.”
Today, Maria is thriving. She’s on track to graduate next spring and hopes to transfer to CSU to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. She credits the Wolf Pantry for helping her stay in school during one of the hardest times in her life.
“The Wolf Pantry reminded me that I’m not alone—that this college cares about my success. It gave me hope when I needed it most.”
Every can of food, every warm coat, and every dollar donated helps students like Maria keep moving forward.
Together, we can Pack the Pantry and ensure every member of our FRCC community has the short-term support they need to thrive.
