Help Us Build the West Slope Dance Collective

West Slope Westies is growing, and with the support of our incredible dance community, we are taking our biggest step yet. In January 2026, we will open a 3,200 square foot studio on Main Street that will become the permanent home of the West Slope Dance Collective, a membership-supported space designed to serve dancers, creatives, and movement communities across the region.

This new studio will be a home for West Coast Swing and a welcoming space for all social and partner-dance communities, including salsa, bachata, ballroom, fusion, blues, tango, and beyond.

In addition to partner dance, the studio will support a diverse range of movement arts such as contemporary, ecstatic dance, yoga, stretching and conditioning classes, choreography labs, and artist-led movement workshops. The space is designed to nurture creativity and expression across many forms of embodied movement.

It will also provide a venue for events, parties, live music collaborations, workshops, artist residencies, and performance showcases.

Our mission is centered around cultivating a place of belonging and community, and this new studio allows that mission to flourish at a whole new level.

To bring this space to life, we are raising $20,000 for essential buildout and startup costs.
