The Vim Wright Legacy Fund honors one of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument’s fiercest champions by launching a powerful new initiative to cultivate the next generation of environmental leaders.

With your support, the Friends will provide critical housing, training, project supplies and hands-on project support for students. They will work side-by-side with the National Park Service staff and contribute to enhancing the Monument’s multifaceted mission.

This is more than a scholarship, it’s an investment in protecting one of the world’s most precious fossil sites through education and interpretation of the resource to people of all ages. Their work enhances the scientific understanding of all aspects of the Monument and supports the stewardship of the land and its social history.
