The Village Institute is a leadership & training institute created to unlock generational Wealth, Worth, & Wellbeing. Since 2019, we have been working alongside refugee/immigrant youth and families to design and build programs that serve their needs, strengths, and hopes for the future.
As they have grown, so have we. We started by building "The Village" - a place where families find safety and belonging. Driven by the wisdom and leadership of our own community members-turned-staff - we are ready to build "The Institute".
Through paid training for staff and interns, curricula that blend research with ancestral wisdom, and culturally-rooted leaders who carry this work well beyond our walls, our next chapter builds upon all we have grown together.
Your gift is an investment in this future -- one in which:
- Opportunity is for everyone
- Ancestral wisdom is valued as expertise
- Cross-cultural learning spurs innovation
- Communities are uplifted by leaders from within
