Kicking off 2026 Strong for dogs in need!

Peaceful Coexistence was created to help dogs like Bailey. Bailey was approximately 6 years old when her family adopted her. She struggled with fear, resource guarding and aggression. Dog trainers said the only option was to euthanize her, but that wasn't an option for her family they were determined to help her. They studied dog behavior, how dogs recover from abuse, PTSD and general dog training. They learned what to do for her. That process came with a lot of expense and no support. Eventually people started seeing the change and asking for help. Baileys family realized that there are more dogs and families in the same position. Thus Peaceful Coexistence was born. An organization that supports dog parents. We began with just providing free dog training, teaching owners about communication, behavior, body language and care. Over time we saw that rehoming, abandonment and surrender could be heavily impacted if there was a resource for dog parents who were struggling financially. We expanded to offering dog food to those in need, paying for vaccines, spay-neuter, micro-chips and more. We have become a whole picture resource for dog parents who need help.
