In the last two decades, as the town of Wellington has expanded, so has the importance of the Wellington Food Pantry.

• 1 in 7 Kids Live with Hunger
• 8.4% of Seniors are Food Insecure (Seniors, who so often are limited by fixed or limited incomes, were among the most consistent pantry clients.)
• 11% of Wellington Residents Have Income Below Poverty Level
• 10.8% of People in Wellington Lack Health Insurance

We know from speaking to our clients that many rely on our Food Pantry for more than half of the food consumed in their home. This support is especially crucial for those who may be unable to work or are living on fixed incomes.
