Judy Conn Summer Camp

Hello friends and family ~ Since my spinal cord injury in November 2023 my measure of time has been by marking my Summer Women’s World on Wheels camp experiences.  I’m excited and grateful to head back for the 3rd time to Women’s WOW Camp this August 12-16 in Empire, Colorado.  In addition to reconnecting and making new friendships, the activities I am most excited to participate in are dance, kayaking, rafting and possibly paddleboarding! This group got me up to Winter Park to ski last March so anything is possible! 

Each camper is responsible for contributing $150 towards their camp experience however the total cost to fund the summer camp is well over $25,000.  If you are able, I kindly ask for any donation, big or small to help support this incredible organization that has given our family hope.  This donation is not just about supporting a weekend in the mountains – it’s about supporting an organization that strives to provide a sense of community, a place of resources and personal connection to empower women in wheelchairs.

I am forever grateful to Kelley Fox, Women’s World on Wheels founder for extending a camp invitation to a very scared 65 year old woman who had no idea how her life was going to unfold.  It was the lifeline I didn’t know that I was going to need.  What I thought was the end was actually a beginning.
