The Music of Movements: Changing Lives in Schools

2025 was one of our most impactful years ever - nearly 57,000 people received a message of hope and purpose through our multimedia films, live performances, and school assemblies.  In particular, we sent teams to the 4 corners of the country in January to present our multimedia assembly program, "At the Table with Dr. King" (ATT) . 

For years, schools have responded with enthusiasm, gratitude, and a question: "What else can you bring us next year?" In response, we've launched "The Music of Movements."  Its theme is "Making Your Voice Matter," and it explores how we might each use our unique gifts to produce useful and impactful change in our communities.  Once we know we're called, we still have to figure out how to respond!  

TMOM examines the music/stories of Sam Cooke, Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, and 17th-century Scot Andrew Fletcher to see how they used their gifts to respond to their urgent social climates.  It also discusses and demonstrates concepts like improvisation, irony, and anthems, and how they help us speak truth more effectively.  Ultimately, it answers the question: in our world of white noise, how do we productively raise our voices on topics we're each uniquely called to address?

We’ve been invited into more schools.  But we can’t go without your help.

“The Music of Movements” is new, and born of response to a felt need.  However, it doesn’t yet have its own financial support base… which is where we hope you come in.  Behind each school’s request is a desire to impact young hearts, and while resources are stretched, our commitment to reach them remains unshaken.  It costs ~$8/person to bring “The Music of Movements” to a local school; would you consider sponsoring some of the 6,250 students awaiting this message of hope with your year-end gift?
