At The Salvation Army Colorado Springs Corps, we serve individuals and families in crisis by providing help today and hope for tomorrow. With your support, we meet urgent needs while addressing the root causes of poverty, homelessness, and hardship.

Our Core Services:

Emergency Shelter & Housing

We operate the Family Hope Center, the only 24/7 family shelter in El Paso County, offering a safe place to stay, meals, and case management. We also provide transitional housing for veterans experiencing homelessness.

Food Assistance

Through our food pantry and low-cost café, we provide groceries, meals, and essential items like diapers and hygiene kits to those struggling with meeting family needs.

Utility & Crisis Support

We help families avoid eviction or utility shutoffs by offering emergency financial assistance and access to vital seasonal resources like school supplies, holiday meals, and warm clothing.

Youth & Family Programs

Our afterschool and summer programs offer safe, structured environments for children to learn, grow, and succeed. Activities include tutoring, meals, recreation, and transportation.

Disaster Relief

When disaster strikes, we respond with immediate aid, supporting families in need of food, shelter, and emotional support to assist in recovery. 

Spiritual Care & Community Support

As a faith-based organization, we offer spiritual guidance, worship services, and community-building programs open to all.
