NES PTA Direct Give

In Nederland we value the natural world around us, we are lucky to have an elementary school that has the same outlook. The PTA at NES provides opportunities to get our students outside via SHRED, outdoor education and provides support for our teachers and staff. 

SHRED is an opportunity unique to Nederland Elementary school where students to have access to organized lessons in biking and skiing throughout their tenure. The program currently provides mountain biking days in the fall and spring as well as skiing in the winter. This past winter kids had 1 day of alpine skiing and 1 day of nordic skiing at our local ski area Eldora Mountain Resort. 

The PTA  supports teachers in the classrooms  via grants to classrooms and funding field trips. We also strive to provide meals and snacks for monthly teacher morale boosts.
