Colorado Gives 2025

Dear CenterStage Supporters!

While you reflect on your Colorado Gives Day 2025 giving plans, we wanted to share a summary of what we achieved last year and offer an overview of the programs we have planned.

Our 2024-25 season was marked by our continued expansion and a signature achievement – our first truly balanced budget since the beginning of the pandemic. Our inspirational Tapestry program produced two shows featuring performers with “all abilities” - an All-Ages production of Godspell (which performed at the Nomad Playhouse in Boulder) and a summer production of Bye, Bye Birdie Jr., serving younger performers. CenterStage had a very successful fall season including productions of Harry Potter 2, Into the Woods Jr. and Elf Jr. We participated in the 2024 Louisville Parade of Lights with students performing and then marching in the parade! Our spring continued our trend of sold-out shows with productions of 13 the Musical, Disney’s Descendants, and Harry Potter 3. Our summer 2025 season was a spectacular success with productions of Addams Family, Alice in Wonderland, Urinetown, and Harry Potter 7 – Parts 1 and 2 (in 4 productions of 2 plays).  The summer highlight was a dazzling production of Chicago: Teen, which was performed at the Dairy Center in Boulder. Last season, we served 399 performers entertaining 5,000 delighted audience members.

We “put on a happy face” at our third annual “Heart for the Arts” fundraiser at the Dairy Arts Center in August. This incredible event featured honorees from past and present as well as a host of student and Tapestry performers! This sold-out event exceeded our wildest expectations!!

Our 2025-26 season kicked off with bigger musical casts, giving more students a chance to participate. We've already staged Harry Potter 4 and Beetlejuice Jr., with Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella set to premiere in December. The Winter/Spring lineup is just as busy, featuring Hadestown: Teen, Harry Potter 5, Mamma Mia, Aladdin Jr, and an All-Ages Tapestry production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. We'll be announcing our summer shows soon—so keep an eye out for what promises to be an amazing 2026!
