Gratitude Village Colorado was created to bring that vision to life.

Across Colorado and around the country, people are experiencing rising housing costs, increasing isolation and a growing need for more sustainable ways of living.

Gratitude Village is a mixed-income, multigenerational cohousing community designed to bring people together while supporting affordability, accessibility and environmental responsibility. 

The community will include 35-55 fully accessible, Net Zero homes arranged around shared green spaces, gardens and a common house where neighbors can gather for meals, activities and mutual support.

This isn’t just about building homes — it’s about building a better way to live.

At Gratitude Village, neighbors know each other. Children grow up surrounded by trusted adults. Older adults remain connected and supported. Residents share resources, reduce environmental impact and create a culture of belonging that is increasingly rare in modern neighborhoods.

The community is designed to be fully accessible and intentionally inclusive, welcoming people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities. Up to half of the homes will be permanently affordable, helping bridge the gap between traditional rental housing and market-rate home ownership.

Gratitude Village is currently in the pre-development phase, working toward land acquisition, site design and the many steps required to turn this vision to life. Funds raised through this campaign will help support the essential early work that makes community-led development possible — including planning, community design workshops, legal and engineering work and outreach to future residents.
