For All Of Us - RMEQ End of Year Campaign

Hello, friends,

As many of you know, I am a parent of a trans child, a nonbinary child, a trans partner, and the founder of Parenting the Rainbow.  Given the year our trans community has had, this Co Gives Day is especially important to me.  I know firsthand the power of community and support.

Parenting a rainbow child in a world built for cis norms can feel uncertain at the best of times.  Right now, it feels dangerous to just allow our children to be their beautiful, authentic selves.  That’s why organizations like Rocky Mountain Equality (RMEQ) matter now more than ever.  Through peer-led support groups, family events, educational programming, and advocacy, we create spaces where our kids are celebrated, our families are seen, and our voices are heard.

This Colorado Gives Day, I’m asking you to stand with us.  Your gift will help ensure that parents and caretakers of trans, nonbinary, and queer youth have access to connection, resources, and community — even when the world feels uncertain.

Because the love we give our kids needs a village behind it.
