The Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing free, high-quality dental care to Coloradans in need.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together to transform a school, arena, or event center into a fully functioning 125-chair dental clinic. Over two days, patients receive cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, dentures, ceramic crowns, and other essential dental care—completely free of charge.

Since our first clinic in 2007, COMOM has served more than 20,000 patients and provided over $18 million in donated dental care.

This year, COMOM is bringing our free dental clinic to Cripple Creek-Victor High School, September 25–26. More than 800 volunteers have already registered, including nearly 200 dentists, along with dental hygienists, assistants, lab technicians, healthcare professionals, and hundreds of community volunteers. Together, we hope to provide life-changing dental care to more than 1,200 patients in just two days.

For many of our patients, COMOM provides more than relief from dental pain. Restoring a smile can improve a person's health, confidence, ability to find employment, and overall quality of life.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters.

COMOM is honored to be featured in Kyle Clark’s Word of Thanks and excited to share our mission with the 9NEWS community. Your support helps us continue changing lives across Colorado—one smile at a time.
