Help me unlock a $15,000 match to assist in feeding pets in need for Hunger Action Month!

$1,000 goal

Colorado Pet Pantry believes pets are family. Over the course of a pet’s life, many people may experience hardships, but those challenges shouldn’t mean that a pet family cannot stay together.

This September, for Hunger Action Month, I am asking my friends and family to help me fundraise for Colorado Pet Pantry, because I believe that pets and people deserve to stick together.

We have a special opportunity to work with Colorado Pet Pantry, and assist in unlocking a $15,000 match to help end pet hunger. This nonprofit is based on the prevention model. By assisting pet owners with food, they can help prevent dogs and cats from ever ending up in the shelter. They work specifically alongside human food banks to ensure that humans get the food they need, and pets get the species-appropriate diet they require to stay happy and well fed.

We have from September 18th to October 17th to raise the necessary and vital funds to unlock a $15,000 donation match. Will you support me in my goal to raise $1,000 toward this cause?

More about Colorado Pet Pantry:

For Colorado Pet Pantry, this year marks 12 years of helping Colorado’s pets stay with their families, through more than 100 monthly statewide pet food pantries.

Because most of the pet food they distribute is donated, they’re able to feed a dog or cat for only $5 per month. Colorado Pet Pantry has developed an efficient distribution system, leveraging more than 1,300 volunteers, so they can keep the cost of feeding pets low, even at a time when price increases are causing expenses to continue upward.

Your donation not only allows pets to stay with their people, but also gives relief to our state’s hard-working animal shelters and rescues, by keeping loved pets in their homes.

Thank you!
