Self-Exploration and Worth, Individual Advocacy and Support are just a few words I would use to describe the mission of Friends of Broomfield.  Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Friends of Broomfield are provided with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, develop personal independence, travel and be employed in their community.  

The relationships I have formed with each participant and skills I have learned while working at Friends of Broomfield has been nothing less than amazing.  The connections, the inclusivity and, of course, cheering with the Denver Nuggets Dancers and our very own Disco Dogs make it easy to do my job and are a constant reminder of the impact Friends of Broomfield has on, not only our participants, but our dedicated team, as well.
