As a prosecutor, I see firsthand the devastating impact sexual violence has on individuals, families, and our community. As a friend, coworker and family member, I see firsthand the trauma left behind by sexual violence. But I also see the hope, healing, and empowerment that can happen when survivors are met with compassion, advocacy, and support. That’s why I support SAVA.

The Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Center (SAVA) is more than just a nonprofit—it’s a lifeline. SAVA walks alongside survivors from the moment of crisis through the long journey of healing. They provide 24/7 crisis response, therapy, prevention education, and advocacy that changes lives. And they do it all with heart, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to survivors. And this is all at no cost to the survivor because of generous donations from people, like you. 

But right now, SAVA is facing a devastating $500,000 cut in grant funding—one-third of their entire budget. That’s not just a number. That’s fewer advocates answering crisis calls. Fewer therapy sessions for survivors. Fewer prevention programs in our schools. The need is urgent, and the time to act is now.
