FRIENDS of Broomfield is more than where I work — it’s where I’ve found purpose, community, and hope. Every day, I get to see the power of inclusion in action as FRIENDS creates opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and live meaningful, connected lives.

This work constantly reminds me that every human being is deserving of dignity, love, and belonging. FRIENDS is proof that when people are supported and valued, they shine — and our entire community becomes stronger.

As a parent, I want my son to grow up in a world that celebrates differences and recognizes the worth in every person. I want him to know that inclusion isn’t just something we talk about — it’s something we build, together.
