Help Support Survivors of Sexual Violence in NoCo

Hi, I’m Corey Smith, and I’m a board member of the SAVA Center. This year, I’m personally asking you to join me in supporting survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones here in Northern Colorado.

Every gift makes a real impact, truly. Your donation on Colorado Gives Day helps ensure that every call to our 24/7 rape crisis hotline is answered, that children as young as 3 can receive free play therapy, that prevention education reaches students across Larimer and Weld Counties, and that everyone who walks through SAVA’s doors is met with someone who listens, believes, and supports.

We’re facing one of the toughest funding seasons in SAVA’s history. In 2026, $500,000 in grants, one third of our entire budget, will disappear. Half a million dollars that has long formed the backbone of our services will be gone.

That loss is devastating, but together, we can sustain the support survivors in our community rely on.  And here’s the truth: small, consistent gifts make a huge difference. A monthly donation, even $5 or $10 recurring, gives SAVA the steady foundation it needs to keep showing up for those in crisis.

Here’s what your giving can do:

• $150 – 1 Child’s Therapy session

• $100 – 1 Prevention Education session

• $75 – Forensic Exam Advocacy

• $50 – Walk-in crisis support
