3D Tour of The People's Mansion

In December 2024, thanks in part to the support we received from CO Gives Day 2024, BHC closed on The People's Mansion - an 11 bedroom historic mansion on Capitol Hill in Denver.  BHC opened the doors of The People's Mansion to its first 10 residents in May 2025, but our work is far from over. We are in the midst of renovations to bring The Mansion up to 19 permanently affordable, safe and accessible bedrooms. 

The historic mansion at 1350 N Logan St marks BHC's first expansion outside of Denver, and Denver's first low-income rental cooperative. Build in 1901, this 13,110sf mansion, like so many across the country, has spent most of the past century as home to only two people. Now this gorgeous property will provide affordable housing to up to 26 low-income individuals in an area that desperately needs more housing options. 

Like all BHC cooperatives, The People's Mansion will serve some of Colorado's lowest income residents, with over half of the bedrooms reserved for individuals making 50% AMI or below.
