Jessica’s Fork Flyathlon Fundraiser!

Oh hi! You may be wondering why I have brought you here. Well, you see, I have the opportunity to compete in a Flyathon (definition is: Run. Fish. Beer.) which entails a competitive 10 mile trail race along the river where I must catch at least one fish to finish the race, where I will be rewarded with craft beer. All in the spirit of supporting some very charming native trout. But only with your help (money).

Indeed, this September 19th, I will gather on the banks of the Lake Fork of the Gunnison with conservation-minded Flyathletes from around the country to compete in an irreverent race that is held to celebrate and to benefit the incredible Colorado River cutthroat trout. ...But only if you donate some of your hard earned dough. Why not? Look at these fish. They are absolutely enchanting. 

When you support Running Rivers through my 2026 Lake Fork Flyathlon fundraiser, you will empower this small-but-mighty 501(c)(3) organization to grow its conservation impact in 2026 and beyond. You will also empower me to run faster, catch more fish, and probably drink more beer. As for any fish I may catch and release during this 10 mile journey, I promise to send you a picture of them and their captivating gaze.
