We're raising $30,000 to secure our space and keep our doors open for the 2026–2027 school year.

$30,000 goal

On the first day of school, we gathered in a circle and greeted one another in our home languages. One by one, six different languages filled the room. Some students wore hijabs. Some spoke very little English. Some had never attended an American school before.

By the end of the year, they were a community.

Students formed friendships across languages and cultures, celebrated one another's successes, and achieved more than a year's growth on standardized assessments.

That progress didn't happen by accident. It happened because we built something intentional: a small, relationship-centered school where every child is known by name, families are genuine partners, and newcomer students do not have to choose between academic excellence and cultural identity.

Both belong here. But this community is now at risk. We need your generosity to keep our doors open.

This year, a loss of district funding has created a significant gap in what we need to sustain our operations — including securing our space at The Village Institute in Northwest Aurora, where Lily Creek has built its home and its community. We need to raise $30,000 to keep our doors open for the 2026–2027 school year, and we can't do it without you.

That location isn't incidental. Children who grow up in The Village Institute's Little Village early childhood program can walk straight into Lily Creek Academy's classrooms — same building, same trusted community, same values. For families who have already navigated so much uncertainty, that continuity matters enormously.

We have a plan to keep Lily Creek going. Will you be part of it?

Here's what your support makes possible:

  • $177/month covers breakfast and lunch for one student — so no child is trying to learn on an empty stomach.
  • $375/month sponsors one student's tuition for a month — keeping a seat open for a child whose family couldn't otherwise afford it.
  • $1,225/month funds employee benefits for our staff — the teachers and educators who show up every day for our kids deserve stability too.
  • $2,500/month covers our full facility costs — securing the physical home where all of this happens.

Any amount moves us forward. Every gift ensures newcomer students will not lose their school as they are establishing their new home in Colorado.

We didn't build Lily Creek Academy for easy conditions. We built it because the children and families in this community deserve something that was designed with them in mind — not retrofitted for them after the fact.

If you believe newcomer children deserve a school where they belong from day one, DONATE TODAY.
