Sustainable Neighborhood Network (SNN) is a nonprofit organization that partners with cities to drive local climate resilience, foster civic engagement, and promote sustainability at the grassroots. Through its structured platform, SNN equips neighborhoods with tools, training, tracking systems, and project ideas to turn shared aspirations into tangible change.

Impact & Track Record

• To date, SNN has engaged over 100,000 residents in neighborhood-led projects, ranging from community gardens to youth literacy programs.

• Its model has been used in 5 cities, ranging in size and diversity.

• Neighborhoods participating in Sustainable Neighborhood Programs work on local priorities while aligning with city sustainability goals. 

Fundraising Goal & Use of Funds

• For Colorado Gives Day, SNN seeks to raise $20,000 to fund dedicated staff capacity, enabling the organization to meet growing demand from cities eager to join the Network and launch the program in their own communities. This support will help transition from an all-volunteer board to sustainable, staffed operations.

• Funds will be used to expand the engagement platform and bring SNN’s model to new neighborhoods and cities.
