Denver Tennis Park - Youth Sports Giving Campaign

How will this money be used? 

DTP is dedicated to serving ALL kids. We believe in the power of physical and mental fitness to change lives. It takes $600,000 to accomplish our annual impact.   

DTP makes a difference in the community and funds raised from Youth Sports Giving Day will support our Community Outreach. 

1. Advantage Kids: A partnership with Denver public Schools helps bring tennis to physical education classes in under-resourced Title I elementary, middle, and high schools-communities where access to the sport is often limited. We introduce tennis and foster education, fun, fitness, and a pathway to play for students who might not otherwise have access. 
2. Scholarships: For some, the ability to afford and/or feel welcome in sport becomes a barrier to consistent participation. DTP is committed to creating as many opportunities as possible to remove affordability and cultural barriers to tennis. We are proud to have a scholarship program for players to join the Youth Tennis Development pathway at the DTP
3. How does a contribution make a difference?
   • $50 provides one child sports equipment and educational materials to equip them with the tools they need to succeed academically and athletically. 
   • $250 covers one child a tennis scholarship for one month. You can give a child the opportunity to learn and grow through education and sport. 
   • $500 offers one child a high-quality summer camp experience to foster lifelong friendships. 
   • $1000 funds a day of tennis education at one DPS school for up to 250 kids. Support an entire class of children, including coaching, coordination, mentorship and equipment.
