2025 LPSF Student Fee Equity Giving Campaign

As a Littleton Public Schools parent, alumna, daughter of a longtime teacher in this community, and a proud member of the Littleton Public Schools Foundation (LPSF) Board of Directors, I’m honored to help raise funds that support every LPS student’s unique path to success.

Not every student’s journey looks the same. Many in our community need financial assistance to fully participate in the incredible opportunities our district offers. LPSF helps bridge this gap - ensuring equitable access to enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and athletics.

Studies show that these programs instill a sense of pride in school and community, teach lifelong lessons and skills, and facilitate emotional and physical development. LPS school administrators see correlations with student involvement in extracurricular activities and their sense of belonging at school. Currently, these administrators draw from their general funds to cover fees that range from $25 to over $100 per activity. This presents a barrier for many students to engage in important ways with their peers.

Growing up, I benefited from the same types of programs our son now enjoys. Those experiences shaped my confidence and pride in this district. No child should miss out on opportunities that help them thrive—academically, socially, or emotionally—because of financial constraints.
