Blue Sky Physical Therapy is committed to giving back to the community that supports us. When we set out to plan a day of volunteering, we were excited to discover The Park People—an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the parks that bring our community together.
Our partnership comes at the perfect time, as we prepare to run the Colfax Marathon Relay. We’re proud to raise funds through the race while also taking it a step further by giving our time and energy through hands-on volunteering. Together, these efforts support greener, healthier spaces for everyone in our community.
The Park People is a 57-year-old Denver-based nonprofit working with communities to plant trees and improve parks for a healthier, more resilient future for all. This spring, The Park People will be distributing over 1,000 free and low-cost trees to Denver residents through their beloved Denver Digs Trees program. Trees not only make our neighborhoods more beautiful, but they reduce air pollution, minimize flooding, shade our homes, and provide resources to pollinators and urban wildlife.
Blue Sky PT is proud to support The Park People's mission, and we invite our community to support their Spring Appeal fundraising efforts by making a gift today. Thanks to a generous matching fund provided by Denver Water and United Airlines in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, all gifts up to $25,000 will be matched and your impact will be doubled!
