Support Mindi in the Middle Creek Flyathlon!

My fly fishing journey started several years ago thanks to my fishing pal from Minnesota taking me under his wing (thanks Adam)! After a brief hiatus, I started fishing again and coincidentally also started running again after a year+ off. What better way to celebrate returning to things that bring joy?

On August 1st, 2026, I will gather in the San Luis Valley with conservation-minded Flyathletes from around the country to compete in an irreverant race that is held to celebrate and to benefit the incredible Rio Grande cutthroat trout. If you’ve never had a chance to see these guys, they are really beautiful. I think it was Adam who told me you’ll never forget your first cutty and I haven’t yet.
