Every rescue starts with a lucky day: the day someone decides an animal deserves a second chance. This Colorado Gives Day, you can be that someone.

Since 2011, Lucky Day Animal Rescue of Colorado has been rescuing homeless and abandoned animals across Colorado and surrounding areas. We rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for animals at risk, regardless of age or breed, and every animal is spayed or neutered before adoption.

Goldie, Veda, Ribsy, Luna, Neelie and Ace all found loving homes because people like you gave. StellaLuna, a 6-year-old, 29-pound cuddler, is still waiting for hers.

Why your gift matters

We receive no tax funding. Adoption fees cover only a small portion of what it costs to rescue an animal. Everything else comes from donations and fundraising, so your gift directly funds rescue, veterinary care and rehabilitation for the next dog or cat who needs us.
